Employee Annual Salary Actions

ANNUAL REVIEWS AND SALARY ACTIONS

  • All employee salary actions are implemented in January regardless of start date
  • Employees who have less than 365 or greater than 365 employee days will have the salary change amount prorated by the ratio of employee days to 365 days

STEPS

  1. BY DECEMBER 15th, Create a “202x Salary Actions” Folder in the Employee Files Folder
  2. BY DECEMBER 31st, Schedule a planning session with the COO to work out total allocation for the coming year
  3. Copy the previous years Employee Salary change worksheet into the newly created folder and allocate the amounts per discussion with COO
  4. BY JANUARY 15th, Schedule a planning session with the COO to review the actual actions to be implemented and the monthly and annual change from current
  5. BY JANUARY 15th, Create an “Salary Action Month Year” Folder inside each Employee folder
  6. Copy this Salary Action template to each Employee Folder and customize per the final spreadsheet
  7. Create .pdf’s of the letters
  8. Send Action Spreadsheet and all action letter pdf’s to kara.snider@lab651.com copying the COO
  9. Kara will send the letters via docusign and make the payroll changes effective January 1.
