There are few Kanban-specific details that should be adhered when loading work

  • Review of the Kanban progress should be happen at least once a week.

    • All active tickets and all tickets that have had a change of status should be reviewed.
    • Review of the Release schedule should be reviewed.  Any concerns about the scope and the status of the project should be discussed.
  • Stand-ups should be scheduled a 1-3 times a week (more if necessary).  This process is not as strict as Scrum, but is it vital that exposure of issues happens in a timely manner.

    • During the Stand-Up, four questions needs to be answered.
      • “What did I do yesterday?”
      • “What am I going to do today?”
      • “What is the status of the tickets assigned to me?”
      • “Is there anything blocking me from completed my tickets before the end of the Sprint” - It is the responsibility of the Project Manager to help move blockers out of the engineer’s way.
